Interviewing with Ashley

If a company invited you to interview with Ashley, here's exactly what you're walking into — and the commitments we make to every candidate.

Our commitments to you

You'll always know

Ashley introduces herself as an AI interviewer at the start of every conversation. You will never be evaluated by an AI without knowing it.

Scored on your words, nothing else

Your interview is scored from the transcript of what you say, against the same rubric as every other candidate for the role. Your appearance, accent, and background are never part of the evaluation — the face-to-face format exists for your comfort, not for judging you.

A human makes the decision

Ashley summarizes and recommends; a person on the hiring team reviews your interview and makes every decision. No one is auto-rejected by a machine.

You won't be ghosted

Everyone who interviews gets a real conversation and a timely outcome — that's the point of Ashley existing.

The practical stuff

What is the interview like?

A real-time video conversation, typically 15–25 minutes. Ashley asks questions about the role, listens, and follows up on what you actually say — like a good first-round interviewer. You can take it on your own schedule from any device with a microphone and camera.

What accommodations are available?

Live captions are available during the interview. If you need other accommodations — or would simply prefer a human interviewer — say so on the interview page or tell the hiring team; the request goes directly to them and does not count against you.

What happens to my recording and data?

Your interview is recorded and shared with the hiring team, along with a transcript and scores. Data is handled in line with GDPR and CCPA. You can ask the hiring company to delete your data at any time.

Any tips?

Treat it like a real interview, because it is one: find a quiet spot, take your time answering, and ask for a question to be repeated if you need it. Ashley is patient — there's no buzzer.
